Here’s your 2×4 over the head, people…

Dear Head-in-the-Sanders:

I know you have had that ‘blame America first’ thing going for a while now. You have honed your skills to a precision point over the last three years since the U.S. entered Iraq. You’ve elevated Howard Dean, Cindy Sheehan, Barbra Streisand, Michael Moore, Richard Durban (D-IL), Dennis Kucinich, Ted Kennedy, John Kerry and their ilk to the position of standard bearer for your cause.

You claim you have looked the enemy in the eye and he is us (or U.S.). Continue reading

By SCHEHEREZADE FARAMARZI
Associated Press Writer

BEIRUT, Lebanon

A senior Hezbollah official said Tuesday the guerrilla group did not expect Israel to react so strongly to its capture of two Israeli soldiers. Mahmoud Komati, deputy chief of Hezbollah’s political arm, also told The Associated Press in an interview that his group will not lay down arms. “The truth is _ let me say this clearly _ we didn’t even expect (this) response…. that (Israel) would exploit this operation for this big war against us,” said Komati. He said Hezbollah had expected “the usual, limited response” from Israel to the July 12 cross-border raid, in which three Israelis were killed.

Israel – the clock is ticking

Apparently, the U.S. Administration has given Israel one week to wrap things up.

I sincerely we doubt we would appreciate some other country giving us a timeline for any military action we would engage in or allow such a demand to influence our strategy.

Israel should do what it must do to protect itself and its’ citizens.  We should not be telling them when to stop, we should be asking what we can do to help.

Very disappointing.
